Exclamation 1996 Spark Plug Wire Fit

I have a 1996 Chevrolet Suburban with a 454 Vortec. I tried switching out the spark plugs on it yesterday, but had myself a bit of trouble. It seems that on the right side of the distributor cap(looking at the engine from the front) one of the spark wires was really hard to put in. It was tucked under the lip of the manifold and really against the manifold. I was wondering of this is normal? Any advice would be great. Thanks.

I just got a 1996 Chevrolet Suburban with the 454. Mine is still running ok, I will look at it when I get home tonight to see if it has the same problem. Which plug does yours go to?
