Hey everyone. I bought a 1996 Chevy Tahoe with 120,000 miles on the odo. I gave it to my mechanic to do an overall check but I don't think he did much more than tires/alignment and top off fluids.

With a full tank of gas I'm getting about 270 miles to a tank. If it has a 30 gal tank, at 14 MPG I should be getting about 400 miles to a tank, especially since I drive solo bout 90% of the time.

I have the following things to check/replace on the car, anything else you folks suggest I check?

Spark Plugs
Plug Wires
Distributor Rotor Cap
Fuel filter
A bottle of techron

On a side note...does anyone know of a pro chevy mechanic in LA county? I'd be willing to take the car to a pro long as they specialize in chevy...
