Default 1997 tahoe shift solenoid a and b code fail

My 1997 tahoe 5.7 v8 speedo and tachometer quit working and shift solenoid A and B came up on code reader. Along with torque converter solenoid. Womt shift either.all this happened at once . Please help a fella out !!

I think your ECM/TCM is gone. It's an old Chevy Tahoe and things fail. I have a 1998 K-1500, but I'm not trading up to something newer. I'd dump the ECM before I did that. It's been a nice ride, but it's a stick-shift, and I'd never own an automatic in a pickup. She shifts like a dream come true.
