What voltage reading do you get at the battery when you throttle up to about 2k rpm and hold it for a few ?
The voltage should go up or be in the 13-14.5v range
Also a fully charged battery should read over 12 volts 12.3v to 12.6v with nothing connected to it....

I put a 140 amp Alt on it today and drove it for a few hours and had no issues. I will keep you guys updated but it seems that all is well. I am going to drive it around tomorrow and maybe even find some mud to put it in. Thank you all so much for your help. Y'all are awesome and it makes me feel good that there are people out there that's willing to take time out of their days to help strangers. Be safe and keep being awesome.

Autozone tested them and they said they were good. I don't know if they were bad or if they just couldn't keep up. Either way it seems to be ok right now. I hope it continues to work.

So here in Memphis we were blessed with a much needed rain and it turned the pasture into a nice mud hole. I took the Tahoe out and played around yesterday and this morning and had no issues. I am guessing that autozones Alts were just crap and I finally found one that works. I did however drag my exhaust off and now have a very very loud tahoe but I can fix that no problem. Again thanks for all of your suggestions and input.
