Exclamation 1999 Sub. Brake problems

Almost $1800 into my brakes and it still shakes. Can't figure out why, will you give it a try?

I guess before I could venture a guess it would require more of a description of the problem... other than you've paid far too much for any kind of brake shake I can imagine... 1800? thats um, well, you should have a brand new brake system for less than that.

It is a completely new brake system. New vented and dimpled rotors, ceramic pads, calipers, wheel cylinders, ceramic shoes, drums, spring kits. The GM dealer could not accurately diagnose the problem. Two local brake shops came up with issues that turned out to be wild goose chases that cost me $700. I am at my wits end and just about ready to send it down the road!!

ok, need more info. the more descriptive the better. when does it shake? only under pedal pressure? foot off the brake?

have you had the steering checked (might be a dumb question, but if you've got a worn out front end.....) by someone trustworthy?

chain of events might be helpful too.
