Smile 1999 Suburban - Hard Start

I have a 1999 Chevy Suburban. Let's see if I can give you the Reader's Digest version of my problem. If I start my Burb at least once a day, no problem. However, if I let it sit for 24 hours or more without starting it, it is a real son-of-a-bitch to get it going. The whole vehicle shakes, the engine sounds like it is going to throw up and when it finally does start, it blows out a bunch of smoke out of the tailpipe. I have had the starter changed, the flywheel changed, battery changed, oil changed on a regular basis. I have taken it to a few local mechanics but no one seems to have a definite answer to what may be causing this problem. I was really hoping someone in this forum may have had a similar problem with their vehicle and found the solution to it. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks
Jack.

Have you checked fuel pressure? It should maintain 50 psi or so after shut off. What you describe sounds like pressure is leaking down, and when you try to start it, it takes a few seconds to build pressure.
