The tire pressure(s) listed on the Tire and Loading Information placard in the driver door jamb are recommendations derived from tests taking into account numerous factors such as vehicle load and weight, tire manufacturers specifications, ride quality, dynamic rollover tests results, tread life and etc.

The specified tire pressure is a suggestion that should provide a good ride quality, long tire life and safety. Check your tire pressure at least once per month and do NOT run the tires below the pressure specified, if you regularly drive your vehicle loaded, tow a trailer or prefer a more responsive feel than adjust the pressure upward about 10% or about 3Psi in this case.

Always use a known accurate tire pressure gauge and do not rely on the accuracy of the in tire sensor(s).


I run mine at 35psi all the way around as well.

Dave is correct (like we'd even think otherwise ).
i run my tire's (on my 'burb) @ 50 psi cold. that's what the LT tires call for @ max load, cold. since the truck ain't no little S10, and i do tow with it, and i do drive kinda agressive, i keep them right up @ the top. the temp only rises 5-6 psi during the summer months. i honestly did notice a difference in ride quality over the factory "P" series tire-it's better with my LT's! not wishy-washy and unresponsive, but firm & tight, they react how i want them to, when i want them to.
