Default 2000 Suburban 5.3L motor replacement

Hello, I am in need of replacing the motor on a 2000 Suburban 1500 I just purchased with a 5.3l. I am searching out a motor and looking through salvage yards everyplace lists the only vehicles it can come out of to be a 2000. The block seems to be the same from what I have found in researching between 99-2004 or 2005. The problem is the salvage yard I am looking to purchase from only has motors from 2001 and 2002 silverados. Can anyone tell me what the differences are between my 2000 motor and 2001 or 2002 5.3L motors? I'm guessing it's just sensors that I can change around when I take mine out but wanted to find out before I go buying a motor.

Thanks

same motor, should be. Get VIN numbers and find out what motor is in what vehicle. You could even upgrade to a 6.0L motor, very universal...
