2000 Suburban 5.3L - Unsolved engine noise/rattle
Does anyone know what this noise is (wait until the last two revs)? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Prl3...ature=youtu.be
It's intermittent, and does it about 25% of startups. It usually does it after its been sitting for a few hours, never at idle, and for the first 5-10 seconds or so of driving, and then it goes away. It has recently gotten worse, but not alarmingly bad. I'm at a loss.

If all looks good there, take a mechanics stethoscope and probe various locations until you find where it's coming from.
It sounds like on the bottom of the passenger side of the motor. After some more research, I believe it's related to the AC system. I'm hoping it is the AC tensioner pulley bearing which is a pretty simple fix. I'll investigate tonight and keep you posted.
Thanks
