Default 2000 Suburban Stereo not turning on

Morning all,

I am over in the UK (hence the username!) and I have just purchased a 2000 Suburban, all is going great and I love the size of it.

The stereo has been working fine since I took delivery of the car however from this morning it will not turn on. It's got power as when I press the "Recall" button the time comes up on the screen. I've toggled the power switch up and down to no avail. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Thanks for taking the time to read. Hopefully someone can help?

Welcome from Florida. There are 2 fuses for the radio. Check all your fuses to make sure they are both good.

Maybe disconnect the battery negative cable for 15 minutes to clear the computer, then connect and try.
