Hi, I have a 2001 Yukon with 210,000 mi. The alternator says Delphi. Is this likely the original part? I'm asking because I'm experiencing what seems to be an intermittant problem with voltage on the dash display. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Cheers. Wavelength.

Yes, many of the OEM parts on the 2001 Yukon are likely Delphi. At least, they were one my 2003 Yukon, and on my son-in-law's 2008 Denali.
Delphi is a spin off company, which was originally GM's internal parts division. GM spun it off as a separate business in 1999.

So, replaced the alternator and red battery light goes away and charging normally. Only thing is it's idling too low now, about 300 rpm. The original was 105 amp and I went to 130 amp. Would this account for it? I didn't think so as the same load is present as before. Any ideas on this. Cheers. Wavelength.

I can't say why the different alternator would affect engine idle speed. Technically it shouldn't, as that is all controlled by the ECM. Maybe you have another problem going on? Any check engine light or active codes in the system?
