Default 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe 4wd
Put in rebuilt transmission I ran it about a year than it quit shifting out of drive and at same time you start it up and put in reverse it kills the motor

Bad TCM most likely.

Trans. Control Module. Need a scan of it with a full spectrum code reader. That's the first step any shop would do to see what the system sees.
