Default 2001 Chevy Suburban Radio, A/C Control, Gear Shifter Display Problem

I took off my dash to install a hands-free calling device to my CD/radio module. During the course of that install, I must have made a mistake somewhere, as when I turned on the car after attempting the install, the radio module appeared to have no power. I then realized the gear shifter and odometer display was not turning on with the car either. I am able to change gears, but the display doesn't seem to turn on to tell me what I am in. Additionally, the AC control module doesn't seem to turn on the fans when I turn the *****.

I have tested some of the fuses that I thought would be relevant (IGN 0, ILLUM, RDO 1, HVAC 1, HTR A/C) and they were all fine. Any ideas what I could have touched that would cause all of these to malfunction?

Does the fan blow if you have the heat on? If not, it appears that you somehow affected the blower motor resistor located under the glove box, or I should say the power supply to it. I would suggest redoing your work; it's probably something as simple as inadvertently disconnecting something or failing to reconnect something...maybe both. The fan and shifter display may be a result of the first example, while the radio a result of the second.

It turned out to be a fuse after all. I had checked in the fuse box to the side of the instrument panel, but it turned out that there is a RADIO fuse in the fuse box under the hood that controls the power to the instrument panel, HVAC system, and the radio unit.

Whoda thunk? But good to know; would never had expected that that combo would be the result of one fuse.
