I am swapping taking the 6.0 with a broken crank out of my 2001 suburban and replacing it with a 2001 5.3 that I've pulled from a Yukon. It is a complete running gear swap eng, trans & tc. The problem is It won't start. It won't turn over by the key I can turn the key on and jump the starter but it doesn't start still, if I shoot some gass in the intake and jump the starter it will fire and die again, I've swapped the ecm from the Yukon also seeing if that would help but it did not. With it firing off with the key on and me jumping the starter I know it has spark. Could the pass Lock system have something to do with it even though I'm using the correct key...... Please, any help will be appreciated. Thank you!
