Default 2001 Suburban AC fuse blows

I replaced the AC system last year and now all of sudden the fuse keeps blowing. Actually I can replace the fuse and the AC will run for about an hour and then blows. Then I have to wait overnight to replace it again or else it will just blow the fuse right away.

Anybody have any ideas what would cause this?

Thanks

Welcome to the Chevrolet Forum. Is this the fuse that the high pressure switch blows? Not familiar w/ the 2001s. Maybe someone else can help.

Is the compressor clutch fuse blowing or the blower motor?

I don't think its the blower motor. After the fuse blows the blower/fan is still blowing, just blowing warm air. And the lights for the AC, ReCirc/Fresh air no longer work.
