This code comes up as Bank 2 Sensor 2 catalyst system low efficiency bank 2. The Suburban sometimes at a complete stop and when you go to take off falls on its face and then pick back up and no more problems. Can the Catalytic Convertor being stopped up cause this issue or what else could i look for to fix this issue? There are no other codes in the system. Also the i took the oxygen sensor off of the other side and switched them and sill gave me the same code so i know its not the 02 Sensor.

 

usually it the cat. don't put on a cheap cat with a low cerium content. that is the oxygen storing element. a cheap cat will continue to set the dtc.


hammer fist your cat...does it rattle...sometimes they break & cause restrictions in the exhaust...which would explain the other symptom.
