Default 2002 Chevy Tahoe replacing water pump and draining coolant help

Hi,

I posted awhile ago on this forum about a coolant issue...

After putting dye in my coolant, I found out that my water pump was leaking coolant, so I took off the pump and removed the hoses and stuff. I removed the lower radiator hose off the radiator and drained it. My new pump is coming tomorrow... should I just put the new pump on and add more coolant? Or is there more coolant I should drain out before adding the "new"? Is there anything else I should do before putting it back together?

Thanks guys!

Regards,
Josh
