Default 2002 Suburban No Front Heat Issue

Hello everyone, I have a 2002 Suburban with no front heat, air blows cold. The rear heat works fine, both the lines to the heater core are hot. Anyone have any idea what the next thing to look at is? There are no codes being thrown. Thanks! Dave

Have someone move the dash HVAC control, while you look under the dash. Look at the actuator linkage and see if it is moving. It is possible that either the actuator motor is no longer working or the linkage is disconnected or broken.

Since you have heat to the heater core, if necessary, you should be able manually disconnect the linkage and open the flapper door to allow heat to enter the front cabin of the truck, as a quick fix.

Look at gmpartsdirect.com for a diagram of the HVAC system, if you do not have a manual.
