if you search for the disk for your 09 it is still the same 2011 update. I assume the 2012 may be different finally? <TABLE class=std-bord cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=0 width="90%"><TBODY><TR class=data-0><TD>2011 DTS/SRX/Avalanche/Suburban/Tahoe/Yukon/H2/Silverado/Sierra Nav Disc <INPUT value=20940248 type=hidden name=sku[0]> </TD><TD>20940248</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

Default 2012

the 2012s are available, but it does not list it as compatible with the 07-2011s. I hope that 2011 isn't the last disc for my 09. especially at $200 each when at 8" Garmin GPS unit with FREE lifetime map updates is only $150.00

I talked to them and I think the 2012 disk listed is different and not compatible with our "old" systems. she said there will be another update for our models. but who knows I guess.

anyone found out if this disk for the 2012 works in the older years or if they are going to make a new one for the 2007 - 2011 years? I would think the 2012 update would be out by now for all models...

Default Navigation discs

Navigation discs (2011) are $50 off right now at gmnavdisc.com. Staff at gmnavdisc.com will not say when 2012 discs will be available. Does anybody know if the new discs are "normally" released in January or perhaps Feb?

Default sale

my guess is prices will go back to 'normal' the day they are released.

I'd buy a 2012 for $150.00 assuming it works in my '09.

I would buy one too. The problem is, the new navigation unit for 2012 is entirely hard-drive based. Our units would still have to read off of the disc. I would LOVE an updated interface, but I won't hold my breath.
