2002 tahoe - electrical issues - need help!
New to the forum and have some questions about a 2002 Tahoe 2WD I just bought...It seems to have some electrical issues I need some help resolving..
Instrument cluster
My fuel gauge & temp gauge don't work and the back light behind the miles doesn't show the miles on the truck or what gear I'm in. I bought a used cluster and plugged it in, same thing...Also in the Message Center the battery light is lit up??
Other Electrical
All the power windows work except the passenger front door. When you hit the button to go up or down it just clicks, like a relay clicking int he door. I wasn't sure if the motor's were known to go bad, or could it possibly be due to the cluster problem?
The headlights ONLY work on high beam, when you pull the signal switch back to "click" the lights back to low beam nothing happens...stays on high beam and doesn't made the clicking sound.
Cruise Control doesn't work either...
A buddy of mine mentioned it could be the BCM (body control module) but are all the above functions controlled by the BCM? Or is this the bad ground I have read about?
Thanks
