I have a problem with the factory radio in my 2002 Tahoe in that the radio sounds really "Tinny", but JUST for the radio. If I play any other music source or CD tape, the sound output had all the range and bass I want to have. Does this indicate the radio section in the factory unit needs attention? If I were to swap it with another factory radio, is this a simple plug and play operation, or do I need to use a scan tool to program and get the replacement radio to work in my Tahoe?
