Default 2003 Suburban-No Volume from Radio

Greetings,

recently the volume on the radio/6 CD changer of my 2003 Chevy Suburban stopped working (This is not an aftermarket radio/cd changer). Before the problem began occuring, I removed the radio/CD changer in order to remove 4 CDs that were stuck in the changer. I unplugged the battery before taking it out. Once I plugged it back in (all of the wires look fine, everything plugged in properly) I plugged the battery back in.

The issue I am now having is the display on the Radio/CD Changer will show up and it will change when I move the radio tuner (So I assume the Radio/CD changer hasn't been locked). However, there is no audio in the vehicle, no matter how high I turn it up. I also tried plugging in headphones to the back seat audio output, there is no audio on the headphones either.

I checked both of the fuses under the hood (Radio and Radio AMP) and both look fine. So my question is, what is it I have to do to fix this problem.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum.

Sounds like it's locked.

I would have thought that too. Except the display doesn't say "LOCKED." I called the dealership and they told me if it is locked it will display that it is, which it isn't.

Maybe a broken wire or bad connector?
