CB2003Suburban

I have a 2003 Suburban 1500 LT 4WD that was in a small front end accident. The drivers side air bag was deployed which in turn locked the front seat belts so they cant ne pulled out for use. I'min the process of reparing it and I was wondering if there was a way to unlock these seat belt mechanisms myself so they will work again, or do they need to be sent out to a shop that can repair them? Just wondering if this was a DIY repair or if it needs to be done professionally. Or can the seat belt mechanisms be replaced?

If it has seat belt pretensioners they have to be replaced once they fire off from an air bag deployment. They are once and done.
