Default 2003 Tahoe Driver's seat reversed

In order to move the driver's seat forward, the slide bar must be pushed to the rear and visa versa. The passenger seat functions normally. This Tahoe was purchased new and I don't recall if it has always been this way.

Any ideas on what needs to be changed?

Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

In your Tahoe, just to confirm; when you press the power seat button, the seat moves in the opposite direction to the direction you push the switch? Ie when you move the switch rearward, the seat moves forward and when you press the switch forward, it moves back? It sounds like the seat connections need to be reversed on the switch to correct the problem. If this has always worked this way, it may be that the wires on the switch are reversed. If this is a new problem, there may be a problem with the seat switch and it should be replaced.

You can get a new switch at your dealer or gmpartsdirect.com

Good luck with the repair.
