Default 2004 chevy suburban hesitation

I have a 2004 chevy suburban awd. When your are stopped and press the acclerator to the floor it barely goes (it moves just very sluggish) maybe 5-8 seconds before it will accelerate normally, seems to be worse when it is hot. Unpluuged map sensor same or worse please help. Thank You It almost seem like a 2 stroke with a powerband all or nothing

Welcome to the forum.

Had an '87 IROC that did the same thing and it was the fuel pump.
