2004 Suburban Pulls Randomly
I have a 2004 suburban LT with 220,000 miles and I have this persistent problem that is kicking my butt to fix and I could use some expert help.
The problem is that the car will drive ok but then randomly pull to the right or left and the steering will feel like there is a dead spot for a brief period (particularly during gear shifts).
It does it with stabilitrak on or off. Braking does not affect it.
Parts that have been replaced (for this and other reasons) include:
Steering pump and all the steering hardware (not the steering gear) - the steering is responsive and doesn't appear to have any play.
Front end suspension including the shocks.
Front wheel hubs and bearings.
Rear shocks replaced with the bilstein upgrade kit.
Brakes bled/flushed and all pads etc. replaced.
Anyone had this and fixed it?
Thanks
