Default 2004 Yukon slt heater issue

Hello guys, I am new here, recently bought a 2004 Yukon ans I'm having this issue. When at idle the heat is cold but when I accelerate it warms up. Doesn't get hot just warm. I checked and the coolant is full. Can this be a thermostat issue?
