Does my $45,000 truck really not have a cabin filter???? We are getting ready to go on a trip and I read about the cabin filters. I went and got one. Took everthing apart and doesn't appear to have one. Down where it is there is a little gadget with 2 screws I took it off and was able to stick my finger in and feel the coil. It had gunk all at the bottom. A muddy gooey looking stuff. I can't belive they didn't build this vehicle with one or am I missing something????

the new body style trucks do not have one either...I am very surprised. my 99' Acura TL has one. I change is every year or 2 and it is really dirty every time.
I have no clue why they did not put one on these vehicles.

But I do agree that not having a cabin filter in these vehicles is bull ****. My wife's $13,000 Mazda has a cabin filter that we replace 1x a year. it's black after a year in the city!

my wife $16k dodge mini-van has one....guess GM missed the easy money boat on this one...

I was wondering if my 1999 gmc yukon has a cabin air filter i cant seem to find it and i see videos but it looks differe t under my dash? Also my ac blows cold on rear control but the front blows hot??? How does that happen
