2005 Chevrolet Suburban LT 8.1L 4X4
Hi Guys,
. I just scored a bit of a unicorn, A 2005 Chevrolet Suburban LT 8.1L 4X4 2500. My current Burban is the '01 2500 with the 6.0. No problems really with the 01 except when an exhaust manifold bolt broke off, and my wrench'n guy said..... "that's normal on the 6.0 LS Motor". So my question for you gents today is.... Are there Any hereditary flaws, or "normal" malfunctions I should look out for on the 8.1 Motor? Maybe anything I can "head-off-at-the-pass"? Thanx in advance for any knowledge & wisdom you can share. Austin.

That's why I always use "NeverSieze" on everything I work on. Well worth the money, if you need to work on something you already worked on previously, including spark plug threads.
