Default 2005 door lock issue, sugestions please.

Hi all, great site, have been reading for days.
Bought a 2005 Suburban 2 weeks ago (140,000 miles), traded in our purchased new 2002 Xtera. My wife and I love this truck, very nice ride. Bought this after riding with our friends in their burb for a year or so.

First issue, wife calls and says that the radio will not turn off after opening the door. Open any other door and it turns the radio off so we have a intermitting door switch.

Second issue, the door locks activate without human input. Wife called and said that the doors lock when going out of park as it should but can hear all of the locks try to lock a couple more times while driving down the road. Once when I turned off the key and exited the truck, door still open, the doors locked, I manually pushed the unlock button on the drivers door and they locked back again, after about 3 times they stayed unlocked.

First problems started after I hand washed the truck, probably coincidence.

I am guessing that it takes applied voltage to lock / unlock the door so a faulty connection should not cause the door to lock by itself. The failure to turn off the radio is likely a bad connection or switch.

Thanks for your thoughts or experience with solving this issue.
