2007 Chevy Tahoe issues
I have a 2007 Chevy Tahoe and it just started making this clunking noise when you put it into drive. No other gear makes the noise happen. It doesn't jerk or anything it just makes that clunking type of noise.
The differential and slip yoke on these are very noisy when moving to reverse and drive. It could be one of those or it could be a bad u-joint. a bad u-joint would need to be repaired. If it's one of the others it's typical and usually is of no concern.
