2007 Headlight Model
ok i have read everything here and I am still confused what the general concensus is with what to go with and who to go with...I am thinking www.highintensityxenon.com because they have free shipping and lifetime warrenty and also one of the posts went with them and said they have been good to him...now...what K to go with? I am thinking either 5000k or 6000k. I like the blue look and all but I also want a brighter light and it looks like the 6 has good color but not very bright...and the 5 look bright but not really any blue/purple? HELP???? opinions???
Go to www.xtralights.com they give you options as well. I think that the lower the number the brighter. 6000k-2000k. 2000k being the brightest.
Hi guys, I'm new in here and need some help. I just bought 2007 chevy Tahoe LTZ and would like to get HID lights on it. I think I know everything that I need to install HID kit for my headlights but I have a problem with the fog lights. I can't find the bulb number and from looking at it I worry that even if I find this out there will be no kit for it. I heard though, that the bulb H3 will fit inperfectly without any modifications. Please, can anyone tell me if that's true because I one step away from buying H11 (for headlights) and H3 (for fog lights) HID kits and there is no returns.
The 07 Tahoebulb size for the fog lights is 880. H11 is correct for the low beams. However there have been reports of the fog light housing and lens melting from this conversion. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have the Z71 rectangular lamps or you replace the small housings with aftermarket ones. There is a vendor on Ebay selling a replacement, but there is some drilling involved.

I have an HID kit (bulbs and ballast) that is 9006/6000k that was given to me as a gift, but never used. I just bought a new 2007 Tahoe. Will i be able to use this HID kit on my 2007 Tahoe? I know the factory for low beam is H11, but my question is, will the 9006 work/fit?

Hey Jeff, I wish I had known you had the fog light bulb kits before I did the order for the 3rd brake light. Would've done them in one pop. I'll wait on those to see if anybody has a problem with their fog light install.
