Default 2007 LTZ Accessory question...

I have a 2007 LTZ (Black) that I am picking up from the dealer next week. Is there anyone here that knows if GM has dropped some of the LTZ options? i.e. Chrome capped mirrors/ wood covered center console/ chrome grille...? I have only seen them on the Suburban LTZ and some late 06's. Although the brochure shows these items as standard on the Tahoe LTZ, mine doesn't have them... they are all body color. Thanks!

You most likely got a early production 07 like myself. I prefer the body color handles and mirrors (Though I like the escalade chrome lower mirror caps) to the chrome on the newer LTZ's. Also the earlier production (It changed sometime around last summer) are about $700 cheaper. You can always add the other things on if you like. Look inside the driver door frame for production date. Congrats

Thanks for your input. I thought there was something odd about it. I have visited a few dealers and all of the LTZ's are chromed and have the console covers. Are there any issues to be concerened with the older build dates? I may refuse this delivery, any opinons?

It's up to you. If you really want the chrome options, make a stink.
Now that you know the truck has been in inventory a while, use that info to negotiate a better price.
I got my early production Suburban LTZ in December for $10K off MSRP...

They changed the tire sensors and garage remote as well. The only options I would like are the grille and console.

Good luck,
Sam

Thanks Sam, no they weren't giving any special deals... nothing above regular incentives and rebates. Just stopped by the dealer, it is a July 06 build date...hmmm...

You can also ask the dealer to put on the chrome pieces...they total about $400 for everything GM parts on ebay, as a part of your deal....

Same here Marie. No chrome at all. Mine is a Suburban though. $10K off = upper $30's for a LTZ.
I even turned down the first one offered and they offered it on another.
Had 9 miles on it. They did have two more "New" LTZ trucks w/ all the chrome.
No deals on those.
My advice. If they will not give you a heavy discount, move on to the next dealer...
