2007 LTZ Polished wheels
3/36 warranty if installed by a certified GM dealer or installer at the time of delivery or a 1/12 if you cash and carry.
Keep in mind that $2,200 is dealer cost; this info is intended to educate you guys so that you can negotiate a good deal for yourself, but if you don’t know what they cost the dealer you wouldn’t know what a decent deal was.

NO, I dont know what it takes to meet the specs. However, my wheels have cloud looking areas on them, also they dont have a consistent finish and spots or blotches. Other spots look like they dont have a polish? It is unlike any other polished wheel I have seen. Maybe it is how they are supposed to look I dont know. But to me it isnt appealing. Yes, from a distance I do like the factory 20" look and design, but up close I am just no impressed. Maybe this is normal and how the wheels are desgined. I always thought a polished wheel could be polished to almost have a chrome shine.
ORIGINAL: ZX1100F1
There are two different 20" wheels, one is polished the other is the same 20" wheel except painted silver, these painted wheels came about after 20,000 of the polished wheels were rejected by GM for having a finish that didn't meet spec.

polished are semi shiny, painted are grey.
I second the issue of the cloudiness and inconsistent shine to the 20's. That is the primary reason I was looking to polish them in the first place, to even out the finish.

We love our trucks but we can have an opinion on what a customer expects in the way of quality.
The wheels look okay for Polished, and yes i know the difference in polished and chrome. The coating is the issue. The polish may be fine but the coating is quite hazy and has blotches. Neither one of which screams quality product.

I have the Painted ones and I hate the way they look so I can imagine how you guys feel. I was surprised they did not offer a chrome version and I should have just purchased one with 17" wheels since I spent all the money on the 20" ones and I am going to end up buying new Chome wheels.
