Unhappy 2007 Sub LT 4X4 climate control issues

MY Sub climate control (duel) is wacked. At about 45K during the late winter this year drivers heat would go cold but passenger side operates well. Summer came and the AC drivers side ran well but would blow heat to the passenger and rear. Starting winter again and same same. Problem would start after about 5 to 10 min of usage promped by random cycling of the vents (defrost, floor, dash vents). I dont want the dealer to guess on this one.

Too avoid the double or back to back post, has there been any positive resolution for the oil consumption issues with the 5.3. I am starting to notice a problem about every 3k.
