Default 2007 Suburban Front End Noise

Before I go digging, I hope someone can help me solve this.....
While parking, stopping while turning the wheel, I get a knocking like metal on metal. It doesn't happen while driving only during the above.

Thoughts?!

I had something like this on a friends car. It was the stabilizer bushings. Take a look at them.

Don't think it's them but I looked anyway...... Not them.
It doesn't happen going over bumps. It only happens while turning right going very slow while stopping. And the sound is coming only front the left side.
Also, does anyone know if the steering shaft is suppose to have a little wiggle? I have heard that the shaft can make such a noise.

Anyone?

So it's been some time now and not only have I gotten any help from my fellow CF users, CCS offered to help me make an appointment @ the dealership!
Is this all they are here for? I could do that myself!! All I want is some advise on what it could be.

Is that so hard? I'm not giving up on this site cuz I had gotten some good info already. Hoping to not be disappointed.
