2007 Suburban Interior Swap
Hey, Ive been following this site for some months now and just purchased a new to me 07 Suburban LT. I cant stand the tacky cream/beige interior and I'm interested in a black interior swap. What would be the best way to get this done? Thanks in advance.

With all due respect, if you do not like the interior color, then why did you buy the vehicle??
I'm sure the interior could be swapped out, but how much time, effort and MONEY are you willing to invest?? I guess a quick solution would be to get black seat covers and full floor covers/mats. As far as the interior trim panels, etc You could check out a local salvage yard and swap the parts out.

I bought it through a dealers auction, it was a great price and okay miles so I kept it. I should have added, I'm already looking into a katzkin interior and lloyd mats. I'm more focused on changing the interior panels, looked around to a few junkyards but couldn't find any candidates. But I'll definitely ask around about the painting process. My only question is any knowledge on it? If so how long would it hold up?
Thanks for the welcom Shark.

As vehicles get older interior pieces can only be bought in 1 color. We have to send window switch panels to the body shop all the time. It lasts for ever when done correctly.

Basically it boils down to proper prep and painting. If it is, then all will be good. Obviously if scratched, the substrate color will show thru.
Not sure if it's still true but GM interior replacement parts used to be black which would work good for you if still true.
