While at the Chevy dealership yesterday I asked him about the PCV valve.He said there were two, one on the left and one on the right.Is that correct as I was also thinking about replacing the left side valve cover with the new style air flow baffle. It is using about 1qt. of oil every 1000 to 1200 miles and also leaking at the rear of the engine. I read here I believe that a clogged PCV valve will cause oil to leak at the rear main seal. Does any of this sound correct? It looks like there is one PCV valve built into the rear of the left valve cover.Thanks.

 

Got it figured out, no PCV valves on this Tahoe.
