Default 2007 Tahoe Crazy dome light and alarm

I have a 2007 Tahoe Z-71 with about 130,000 miles. A out a month ago dome light came on and wouldnt go out unless override button was pushed. Then the alarm wouldnt honk after setting alarm. Then it would be fine. Well during the night dome light would come on and kill battery. So at night or at work I would pull courtesy light fuse because even though dome override was set off it would still kill battery. After checking, changed the lock actuator on driver door thinking it was telling itself that door wasnt closed, didnt work. Then was driving a good distance stopped and went start again and dead battery with a sulfer smell, battery was cooked. So now i installed a new programmed BCM and battery. All was good for about 3 days then battery was drained and dome light on again with alarm back to the way it was. Pulled Bcm fuse for a min and put back in all is normal until dome light keeps coming on periodically but came bring back to "normal" by pulling BCM fuse. Took to a local shop and they check fo rye 6 hours saying all doors show closed but then on is not. No codes found on scaneer and no dash lights or info center warning. Also talked to dealer they told me to check wire harness coming from driver door, I shook it but no change. Any ideas?

Sounds like there's a short somewhere in a harness fed by the bcm or door modules. I'd check the harnesses that feed each door. With the door open, you'll see the black rubber tubing that feeds from the pillar to the doors. Inside there, the wires tend to break from all the opening and closing of the door causing a short. Also check the rear lift door harness. Could be a bad door switch. Here's a link to a thread here showing the broken door wires on an equinox: EQUINOX Wiring broken in door jam

The horn isn't honking on lock because the bcm is being falsely told a door is still open.

There are scanners that can pull data from the bcm and door modules. I used the HyperTough HT200 bluetooth adapter from WalMart for $50 to diagnose issue I was having with my 2007 Suburban. It reads all the available modules in the car and is a re-branded Autel AP200 so it's from a reputable company. This might help tell you which door is causing the issue so you can narrow down the issue.
