2007 Tahoe - Electrical Problems
My electrical problems ... occasionally: When starting ... odometer, gear indicators, and radio time display does not light up. Interior lights stay on after starting/stopping car ... manually have to turn off. While driving ... door lock clicking occurs; however, doors stay locked. When locking car, second entry does not honk horn. Automatic rear door opener occasionally does not function ... manually have to open.
My Service Consultant said that if I didn't correct the problem additional problems would occur. They replaced the negative and positive battery cables, positive to starter cables. Upon picking up my Tahoe, I checked everthing before leaving ... and the problem still existed. I had just paid $549.51. Said that they would need to check further! After another day got a call that it was ready ... all problems fixed. They replaced the BCM and reprogramed the computer ... cost $489.38 ... said they gave me a $100 discount.
Tahoe has had no additional problems ... for $1,038.89 ... I certainly hope so.

Hey, I know, let's play a game:
Find the GM made cars in this list:
The 100 most reliable cars of the last decade (in order)
or better yet, find any that start with "Chevrolet".
lol, piece of $hit.
the
The Daewoo Nubira from South Korean is more reliable.

Hummm I donno, I know a few owners of Audi's and have heard some stories of Fiat's... surely there had to be some other circumstance that a GM vehicle was not in this list....
