Default 2007 Tahoe-Help replacing rear windshield arm please.

So I had my car washed last week and they snapped the wiper arm off of the rear windshield. I decided to order the part and put it on myself. $60 vs $120. It looked fairly simple. Unscrew the nut remove remnants from the old arm and pop on the new one right? Well the old one isn't coming off?!

Am I suppose to unscrew something else or just pull?

Your input is greatly appreciated thank you

Welcome to the forum.

Per my 2007 Service Manual (which I'd be happy to sell you for $100), you remove the nut and pull the arm off. Since the shaft is knurled, it will require beau coup persuasion. Use some Kroil, PB Blaster, or penetrant of your choice will help. Try wiggling back and forth while pulling on it. A small battery clamp removal tool might work also.

I agree with Shark. I've had mine off several times and just used a pair of channel lock pliers to wiggle it and it comes right off. Be careful with the washer hose though, you don't want to have to replace that if you have to go thru the tail gate.
