Default replacing a 1997 tahoe windshield wiper motor

I bought a windshield motor from the junk yard to replace the broken one and i cant get the old one off.I unplugged and unscrewed the old one but i cant get the arm (the ball that connects to the blades) off.Is there a lever or a switch to remove it that im overlooking?

You have to pry the ball out of the socket it will be tough. I am assuming you are talking about where the wiper transmission attaches to the motor
