Default 2007 Tahoe LT Aftermarket Kenwood Navigation/Sirius Install

Folks,

I recently traded in my 2006 Trailblazer for a 2007 Tahoe. I had a Kenwood touchscreen radio with Navigation and Sirius modules. I wired it in with a commercial harness that preserved Onstar. Unfortunately my harness is only good up to the 2006 Tahoe:S

Before I traded it in, I took the radio out with the idea that all I would need is a new harness and be back in business. But after driving our new toy for the last week I'm beginning to wonder...

It currently has Onstar & the Bose system. I am assuming since it's Bose it's the amplified system thus I need the GMOS-LAN-02, correct? But then I realized, I would lose the steering wheel control so I also need the this: Metra Axxess ASWC Universal Steering Wheel Control Interface? How does it work?

And lastly, the rear entertainment with headset--that will stop working also?

Is there anything else I'm losing when I do this?

Is there an OEM navigation/sat radio I can buy instead that will just plug and play?

I do appreciate your time and I actually found that thread shortly after I posted my question, in fact I downloaded the word doc that shows how to do it
Guess I should have dropped a nevermind post.

But I decided not to go that route because the OEM radio and parts and map DVD exceeds $2000. After spending $1300 on my Kenwood, I can't justify another two and plus I have a lifetime subscription to Sirius which is not transferrable to the XM radio.

That said, the concerns outlined in paragraphs. 3 - 5 are still there. I see posts about the gmos-02 and I see posts about the pac steering wheel adapter. Do I need both? And how does the steering wheel adapter work?
