No repairs work. It's like putting a new roof over a rotten frame. The dash will continue to crack. When the crack meets another crack, it will fall into the frame. I've replaced and repaired, nothing has lasted more than 4 years. I have noticed the part number has changed, maybe the material has improved. It's a gamble. Good luck.

Does anyone have opinions on the fiberglass dash covers? I’ve been seeing them a lot on Facebook Marketplace.

I have one in my 2007 suburban LTZ, except mine isnt fiberglass. Its a black Plastic , I have had it for a couple of years now, one of these days I will mount the dbl stick tape so it doesnt slide around , it some times slides back enough to block defrost vent for windershield. I just nudge it back ( its only an inch or so Mine has the cut-out for pass. airbag and should last longer than this suburban will, if It dont, I will get another one . it only set me back a little under a hundred bucks.

You have the top dash cover. I am looking to replace the entire dash. The one I am looking at is a complete dash cover swap.
