im having the same problem with my 2007 avalanche. one crack on the top left corner of the pass. airbag and on the left side of the hump drivers side. i here from many owners that this is happening alot !!!! deffenantly a manufactures defect.

 

I have a 07 Tahoe that the dash is cracking just like all the others here. I have been to the dealership and talked to GM today but since its out of warrenty the do not intend to help at all. Funny all these complaints but there is no problem in their eyes. My husband and I have owned about 10 Chevys of different makes but this customer service ends my relationship with GM, but of course they don't care.

 

No I talked to them today, they won't help me.

46,000 miles, parked under carport with a sun visor, and tints. Cleaned with a damp cloth. Never armor-all.

I guess it's my fault GM.

 

make sure you contact gm through there 1800 number and get everything emailed to you or sent to you via snailmail. we have to keep the pressure on.

 

Whomever you spoke to at the dealership is a moron. Never, ever use armor all, or for that matter any solution on your dash, only wipe it off with clean towel and water. GM specifically advises not to use any chemicals on the dash.

 

I have a 2007 Tahoe also....The crack just appeared today on the left side of the hump above the steering wheel....If anyone does have copies of theirs being replaced it would be of great help ......

 

hey mirandam, please call the 800# for gm and get a case file started. the more on file complaints the better chance of a recall

 

My dealership told me yesterday that they are ordering my new chrome handles for the inside and a new dash, so we will see if they hold to their word.....

 

i also have a 2007 tahoe with acracked dash . what are the dealers charging to replace?
