Please open my case back up as I have had finally had time to bring it by the dealer to have it "diagnosed". Which really meant them saying "Yep, another 2007 with the same problem."

What now? Is paying the 700 my only option or will other dealers do it for a different price?

My 07 Tahoe dash cracked and was replaced early last year. I just noticed that the new dash has already cracked above the airbag. I bought this truck new and love the way it drives but the quality has been lousy. It has had some kind of significant issue about every other month.

I have a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe LT. The dash has cracked through no fault of mine. I called our local GM dealership, and although I have the extended warranty which is still valid, I was told it did not cover the dash cracking. I have 81k miles. What should I do, it seems the dealer wants $800 to fix.

I own a 2010 Tahoe LT with less than 70K miles and my dash recently cracked to the right of the gauge cluster. My painted door handles have also began to peel.

It seems pretty awful that this issue has been ongoing since 2007 yet they were still assembling later models with the same defective parts!

What is the protocol for contacting the Chevy reps that have been responsive to this situation?

Took my truck in that had 3 large cracks on the dash. Had the dealership diagnose the cracks as the GM district specialist said I had to. Dealer said "yep another one with cracks, i'll run my "tool" to see how much we'll cover"
I got a quote for $650. Told this to the district specialist and she said sorry we can't help anymore than that. Just wanted to update everyone on me getting bent over by Government Motors. Shoulda taken pictures, it was painful.

Can't wait for Ford to work out the moisture issues with the ecoboost so I can trade this POS in.
