RE: 2007 DVD - rear audio vs the parents
Works like a champ!
I plugged a pillow speaker into the rear headphone jack (both work), turned on rear system, selected DVD for source. Went to front of vehicle, plugged in an iPod in Aux, selected that up front. DVD audio came only through plugged in pillow speaker, iPod was only heard from the front speakers. The pillow speaker I used came from Radio Shack, but there are plenty of others out there. Just need to make sure the cord is long enough.
Today's task will be to hide wires to allow the speakers to be strategically placed by the kids car seats in the 3rd row.
Hope this helps

good job,
Butcan weuse wired headphones plugged into that rear ports system (instead of pillow speakers) andwireless headphones at the same time? That willmake4 passengers enjoying the DVD audio without disturbing the driver audio entertainments.
Talking about wireless headphones, can we use more than 2 sets (supplied with system) to cover all the passengers in 2nd and 3rd rows?

Wired headphones will work as well. I didn't play with the wireless ones. The manual says they're on all the time when a DVD is playing. Perhaps someone else can jump in on the wireless number of headphone question.
