I recently posted on here about my 2007 Tahoe Stabilitrak. After changing the hub the next day it developed a miss and my Stabilitrak turned off. After putting another hub on and changing a 50 dollar harness the problem was still there. As it turns out i just got really unlucky with the timing of the 2 problems, but its not my hub causing the codes. Cylinder number 1 has very low compression. Just wondering if anyone is familiar with this problem in a 5.3, and where i need to start to get it back on the road.

It would be my guess that the head will need to be pulled off and inspected as it could be a valve seat or a valve not closing properly... It could be a ring issue but I suspect more likely a valve... just my .2¢
