Default 2007 Tahoe tail light and headlight issues.

Recently my left tail light went out, so I forst replaced the bulb. It didnt solve the issue. My husband bought a new tail light...connected it and it still doesnt work. Now having the same issue with my front right headlight.

Tail light doesnt work with hazards, turn signal or brake light....BUT if I hit my lock orlockock button a light comes on.

My headlight on right side will work if I have the kight wheel turned all the way to the right (for my headlights, non auto setting). BUT if I have it on auto setting for my lights...it does NOT work.

Could this be a wiring issue? I have tried everything I know how to do. Anyone else with similar issues have any luck fixing?
