Default 2007 Tahoe v. 2006 Z71 Tahoe

Hey All,

Right now I am debating on whether to purchase a new 2007 Tahoe or a 2006 Z71 Tahoe. Does anyone have a recommendations or comments about either model? Or know of some sites where there is a good review of one or both vehicles?

Thanks!

I had an 02 Tahoe and an 04 Avalanche. The 07's are far better in quality design and looks. It took me awhile to get use to the new look. Remember the 06 is the old body style and is already looking old compared to the 07's. In five years the 06 is gonna look real! old with a very low resale value. Five years from now, chances are the body style of the 07's is gonna be the same, so your 07 will still look new and resale will be much higher.

Just my thought. Its worth the little extra to get the new body and interior style.

I agree with Biggmon - They are both nice, but I would go for the 07.

Thanks for the comments! I am leaning towards a 2007, but (being rather fresh out of college) the 2006's are more in my price range. I really liked my experience driving the 2007 at the dealership; seemed to ride so much better than the earlier models that friends have. How is the new model style stacking up interms of reliability?
